Exhibition: Discovery Bay Multi-Recreation Centre Architectural Design Competition
 

The architectural designs by the winners exemplify great passion and creativity in sustainable architecture. A showcase exhibition of the winning entries is displayed at G/F Foyer of Chu Hai College of Higher Education, Hong Kong, from 21 September to 5 October 2022, and G/F Atrium of LSK Architecture Building of Chinese University of Hong Kong from 6 to 13 October 2022 respectively. Award Presentation Ceremony: Discovery Bay Multi-Recreation Centre Architectural Design Competition

​

At the award presentation ceremony (11 August 2022), our honorable judging panel presented prizes to the winning teams. Apart from prizes, representative from the winning team was also awarded internship at Projects team to participate in the development of the Discovery Bay Multi-recreation Centre (DBMRC). Congratulations to the achievements of all the winners!

​

This competition does not only in line with Hong Kong Resort Company Limited’s vision in nurturing young talents, but also supports the promotion of sustainable architectural designs and raising awareness on the importance of environmental citizenship concepts among our young generation. Through this competition platform, we hope to open up thoughts for the future of sustainable and recreation architecture in Hong Kong.

Results Announcement: Discovery Bay Multi-Recreation Centre Architectural Design Competition

The competition has received keen participation from architectural students across institutes, and the final presentation by the eight shortlisted teams was successfully concluded on 11 June 2022. With a series of adjudication by our honourable judging panel, the Top Three Winners have been selected. A huge thank you to the judging panel for the valuable support throughout the screening process, and congratulations to all the winners!
